Over the past few months in our garden near Salisbury we have been clearing an overgrown area known in our house as 'the jungle'! It is now nearly cleared. We did not know quite what to do with it but have decided to call a piece of it 'Duncan's Garden' and see what we can grow in our chalky soil. A few years ago we were able to germinate an oak acorn and the little tree is a few feet high. We now have another acorn which we shall try and germinate for Duncan's Garden.
