Edit
Me and Duncan were quite easily the most incompetent Japanese speakers out of all the Jets I've met so far. By a long way. He used to say, " Well channy we don't need words to communicate... not when you've got a bum wiggle like this." I remember so many times when I would quietly attempt to order myself something in Japanese desperately hoping no-one would notice and yet I could always feel Duncan's eyes in my back and when I turned around he would have this enormous grin on his face and we would both crease up into fits of giggles. Duncan and I would give each other secret `tips`. Phrases discovered embarressingly late to be revealed to anyone else. In an attempt to improve our language skills we decided to have a competition on a Sunday night and the loser would buy the winner a drink. Although I had desperately been practicing all weekend for some reason it all went pete tong and Duncan still insisted on telling me how good I was. However we both knew the truth. In the end we decided to get each other a drink. I am now the worst at Japanese out of everyone. Duncan I miss been in our useless pair. I treasure those giggle fits and that brilliant laugh.
