We met you briefly Duncan for the first time when you arrived at Heathrow from Japan at Christmas with your friends Michael and our son Elliot but he had already told us much of you and that you were both Leeds Uni and Bodington flats students although a year apart.

We chatted to you and Michael when you were again at Heathrow on your return trip and remember how you made the check-in girl and all of us laugh when you checked in your cricket bat all by itself! - we thought at the time what super guys you and Michael were.

Elliot has told us how happy you were in Japan -you will be greatly missed as you are obviously something special..

The cricket bat did, as you know, arrive safely in Japan and now has a safe home there!
