Edit
I cannot express how sad I was to hear of Duncan's passing.

Dunc was always so full of life, so enthusiastic, a really good friend, and lets not forget always well dressed. I will always have great memories of our time in Leeds together, with all the boys. I will always remember our nights out on the town and all the fun we had. My time working at Browns with Duncan, Jon and Hutch will always bring a smile to my face. One of my best and funniest memories is getting a lift home after work with Niel, the manager, after 'borrowing' some alcohol from the bar. Duncan was holding the bag stuffed with bottles of beers, which clinked and clanked all the way home. I don't know how we did not get busted!

This might sound like a strange memory, but I will also always fondly remember working together at university on our International Business Management project. Although we were working in the library for hours and days on end, it was fun. Duncan, Tom, Dave and myself had a blast writing the project. We were all so proud of the final product, especially Duncan. That is the thing, uni work is usually so dull, but working with Duncan made it fun and interesting because he brought so much energy to it, and everything he did.

I always found Duncan to be a really good person to come to if I had a problem or needed some advice, as I think most people would agree. He always had a good sugestion, or some words of wisdom. He was such a good friend, and that was what made him special.

I just want to pass on my deepest sympathies to Duncan's family during this time.

Yours faithfully,
Nick Marks
