I shall always remember Duncan greeting me after having not seen him for a while. "Hello Peatie", he used to cry, with his arms wide open, and I always laughed, glad to see him again. In fact, it would be him and this expression I would see in my mind when I looked forward to meeting "the boys" on a night out. Duncan always cared enough to ask what was going on in my life, and to cheer me up when I was down. He was always cheerful, and remembered everything. He encouraged, and listened, and included everyone. He put people in a good mood, just by his mere presence. I shall miss his smiling face and his kindness brightening up my day.
