There are so many things that can be said about Mr Barnes, he was such a talented bloke. Reading some of these messages it is clear the effect dunc had on people, even those he only knew for a short amount of time.
I had the pleasure of sharing two years living with him in leeds, the first year in shoddington flats and the second years luxury accomodation in headingly (as puttick said our house is s**t) I'll never forget the laughs we all had, mine and duncs 'northern monkey' Vs 'southern pufty' discussions ('northern monkey' was always the better insult) and repeat viewings of Top Gun (couth) It feels really strange talking about dunc in this way, I know a lot of us who knew him from leeds are feeling the same way, he was such a big part of our lives in leeds, but because we'd not seen him for quite a while, its been a real struggle coming to terms with what has actually happened, and the realization that we'll never see his cheeky face again. You couldnt wish for a better housemate than mr brittas, I was proud to have him as a close friend. My deepest sympaties are with Duncan's family at this time, Love you Dunc, SHOT! Jon Boy PS: Attatched is one of the only photos i could find of me and dunc, hilaroiusly we had sellotaped our noses up, dont we look attractive?
