It is very hard to know what to say at times such as these. I feel very privileged to have known Duncan, and take some comfort from the knowledge that all fortunate enough to have met him feel the same. He was much loved and admired for a whole range of his unique characteristics - his infectious laugh, wacky humour, and boundless energy. I have just returned home from the deeply moving funeral, and was overwhelmed by the amount of love and courage that all present showed, in particular his parents and brother, with whom my thoughts and prayers are with. I feel that a little bit of Duncan lives on in everyone who knew him, and that his memory will always stay. God bless your soul Duncan.
