I am finding it difficult to know what to write at this extremely sad time. But I just wanted to say how honoured I feel to have met Duncan and spent a little time with him. I met him on a teaching course before coming to Japan. He was so friendly and cheery and I felt that I had known him for years, a real quality to be admired by all. I then had many laughs with him at the Tokyo orientation but then I came up to the north of Japan. I will always remember him as being one of the friendliest guys I have ever met and always managed to make me laugh. I will miss him lots. I am thinking of his family and friends so much. He was a very special person and I will never forget him, especially his always smiling face. With Love Lucy
