What’s the craic then Barnsey? Over the last five weeks I’ve been at a loss as to what I would like to say, I am just in awe of the way in which you have touched people everywhere you went. I was unfortunate to have met you only on the way to Japan last summer, but I couldn’t have hand picked a better guy to spend the worrying first week with. My thoughts have been with your friends and your family and will remain there for long to come. Through meeting Craig and Barry it was instantly obvious to me where you get your qualities from. I’m sure the loving relationships within the Barnes family are helping them through this sad time. Dunc, you taught me many things about life, without even trying. So genuine. That effortless niceness that we all aspire to is sorely missed. Your infectious cheeky grin will never be forgotten. It wasn’t all one way guidance, as I’m glad to say that at least I passed on a couple of Northern Irish colloquialisms to a Londoner! You were an outstanding person and friend Duncan. I’ve always been sceptical of anything other than this world existing, but if there was ever someone being amused by watching my life, then I’m sure you are there somewhere with that cheeky grin on your chops!
